Rising police costs drive tax increase in Castor’s 2026 budget - The Stettler Independent

Castor town council approved a 2026 tax increase during its meeting on May 11. In the approved budget, residential properties will see a 3 per cent increase while commercial properties will see a 2 per cent increase to the municipal portion of their tax bill.
