‘I’ve Reached My Limit’ Says Country Music Singer After Canceling Tour
The singer said he has struggled privately for months and will rest, seek professional support and pause his tour with no return date.
On Monday, 28-year-old country musician Tayler Holder announced the cancellation of his "When No One's Around" tour, citing a constant struggle with his mental health that he could "no longer ignore."
Despite achieving his dreams, Holder acknowledged feeling "so lonely" and "unfulfilled" even as his career was on the rise, prompting the decision to step back from performing.
The tour began in Commerce, Texas, on May 1 and included upcoming stops in St. Louis, Missouri, and Kansas City before Holder scrapped all remaining dates across May, June, and November.
Christian artist Brandon Lake responded publicly with encouragement, writing, "Love you dude and believing for a quick shift," as the announcement drew immediate support from fellow musicians.
Holder did not offer a timeline for his return, stating he needs to "take a step back and focus on getting healthy" while expressing gratitude for fans' continued patience and support.
