Ric Flair cancels Seattle appearance due to blood clot diagnosis
Doctors limited Ric Flair’s travel after finding a blood clot, and he was hospitalized after a fall that cut his face and eye.
On Friday, WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair was hospitalized in Tampa, Florida, after falling outside a restaurant, just hours after canceling a Seattle appearance due to a blood clot.
Flair earlier announced he would miss the Washington State Horror Con because doctors limited his travel to 3–4 hours due to a leg blood clot, emphasizing the need for recovery.
According to TMZ reports, the 77-year-old wrestling legend "suddenly fell" and injured his face outside a Wagamama restaurant, requiring ambulance transport and treatment for potential concussion concerns.
Referencing Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts, who recently suffered lung complications from blood clots, Flair wrote, "It is a reminder that this is not something to take lightly, and I must follow medical advice."
Although Flair is scheduled for a medical procedure to strip the affected vein and eventually resume traveling, it remains unclear how his fall impacts that recovery timeline.
