The news became known after Boyko Borisov's meeting in Düsseldorf with Rheinmetall CEO Armin Paperger.
The German arms giant Rheinmetall and Bulgaria will jointly build two factories in our country. The first will be for gunpowder and will be built within the framework of the state-owned VMZ-Sopot, and the second will be for the production of NATO-caliber artillery shells. This was explained by the company's director Armin Paperger and the leader of GERB Boyko Borisov, who met in Düsseldorf.
