Revive & Survive Celebrates 500K Milestone in CPR Training Goal

More than 522,000 people learned hands-only CPR as part of the Revive & Survive San Diego Initiative launched in January 2024. The initiative is more than halfway to its goal of training one million people to do hands-only CPR.

From the area of Labor Affairs and Trade Union Relations of our municipality, we begin with the workshops of Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (RCP) in the companies of our city. In this context, we aim to continue to promote this series of practices that can be applied in different contexts in order to save lives, as well as to stimulate collaboration between the different actors of the community in emergency cases.

The campaign aims to train one million residents in this technique, which can double the chances of survival for someone suffering from cardiac arrest.
