I was already skeptical after the second film, and when the third came out it was clear that my skepticism was, as usual, healthy. None of them would top 1993's Jurassic Park. But that didn't really matter – if there were dinosaurs in the movie, it would be seen.
Seventh opus of the inexhaustible eponymous saga, Jurassic World: Renaissance is released this Friday, July 4. At the controller, the British Gareth Edwards respects his promise to make the film "a love letter to Steven Spielberg".
