(CNN)– The latest jobs report by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics is out. The economy added just 22,000 jobs in August. Economists were expecting the economy to add more than 76,000. In addition, the data shows unemployment rose to its highest level in nearly 4 years from 4.2% to 4.3%. The data together could be an indication that the U.S. labor market is growing stagnant. The BLS has released the August job numbers and they continue the dismal trend that started in May where the numbers were well below the required number needed to keep up with population growth.
