General Jack Keane, a retired four-star general and former Vice Chief of Staff of the U.S. Army, says the US-Israeli military campaign launched against Iran on February 28 is a calculated effort to dismantle the Islamic Republic’s political and military architecture.
On the morning of February 28th, Tehran time, the United States and Israel jointly launched Operation Epic Wrath, a large-scale air campaign involving the U.S. Navy, Air Force, and the Israeli Defense Forces, with over 900 sorties. The U.S. and Israeli objective was clear: to directly bomb and destroy Khamenei's heavily guarded "Leadership House" compound. Satellite images show that many parts of the complex were razed to the ground.
