The unique list in Sauzet, north of Nîmes in the Gard, won all the seats at the end of the first round of the municipal elections on Sunday, December 15, 2026. At its head, 24-year-old Théo Guigue, PhD student in economics, becomes the youngest mayor of the department and one of the youngest in France. In the Gard, the participation rate was 50.36% at 5 pm.
