Results for the Florida judicial races in midterm election on Nov. 3, 2026
Preliminary returns show the Supreme Court retention question among Florida’s election-night races, with results still unofficial as ballots continue to be counted.
On Tuesday, Nov. 3, Florida voters cast ballots in midterm elections deciding the governor's seat, a U.S. Senate special election, and congressional, state, and local races across the state.
Nearly 5.46 million voters participated early before Election Day, representing about 40 percent of Florida's 13.7 million registered voters, according to the University of Florida Election Lab.
With 96% of precincts reporting, Attorney General James Uthmeier and Chief Financial Officer Blaise Ingoglia led their Democratic opponents 50.9% to 49.1%, while Agriculture Commissioner Wilton Simpson led 51% to 49%.
Democratic incumbents secured reelection to the U.S. House: Debbie Wasserman Schultz won Florida's 20th Congressional District, while Kathy Castor and Jared Moskowitz retained seats in the 14th and 25th districts.
Voters also considered constitutional amendments, including proposals to increase the homestead exemption to $150,000 in 2027 and $250,000 in 2028, and to raise the budget stabilization fund from 10% to 25%.
