Siena Picks New Basketball Coach to Replace McNamara

- Before joining the college ranks, Smith spent five seasons as an NBA G League head coach with the Miami Heat-affiliated Sioux Falls Skyforce and the Houston Rockets-affiliated Rio Grande Valley Vipers.
- Miami Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said Wednesday Smith has a "great, innovative coaching mind," adding, "I think it's a great fit."
