City of Regina conserving water amid low supply, asks for public assistance
Regina has implemented temporary water conservation measures because of low supply caused by ongoing upgrades to its treatment plant at Buffalo Pound, said the city in a news release on Thursday.

Moose Jaw – The 2024 annual report of the Buffalo Pound Water Treatment Plant noted the maximum acceptable concentration of fluoride was briefly exceeded in December. It occurred when one of the city’s pumps had shut down on two occasions that were related to plant renewal control system upgrades.
