VIDALIA, La. — Friday, May 2, marks the 30th-annual Relay For Life of the Miss Lou celebration and the 40th anniversary of Relay for Life nationwide, which raises money for cancer research and finding a cure, said organizer Denise Darnell-Davis. Help end cancer at area Relay for Life

“Give Cancer the Boot” at the Oconee area Relay for Life is Friday, May 2 from 6-10 p.m. at Oconee County Middle School. This theme will be represented with more than 60 teams and over 30 tents, including local schools, churches and businesses.
