Reds stun Crusaders in Brisbane
Late tries from Filipo Daugunu and Louis Werchon sealed Queensland’s first home win over the Crusaders since the 2011 final.
The Queensland Reds defeated the defending champion Crusaders 31-26 in Brisbane, ending a 15-year losing streak against them and maintaining their Super Rugby Pacific finals hopes.
A Wallabies No.10 contender was injured in the 44th minute after a tackle and was later seen using crutches with a knee brace.
Coach Les Kiss said the injured player felt something after contact and discussed the injury with him.
Werchon recovered a loose ball and made a decisive 50-metre run to secure the Reds' winning try.
