Le Lez has just been placed in red alert by Vigicrues. The level of the stream continues to rise between Lavalette, Montpellier and Lattes.

The town hall of Lattes ordered the evacuation of the Marestelles and Saladelles district this Wednesday in front of the climb of Lez. About 60 houses are concerned. "It is a precaution," says Mayor Cyril Meunier who invites the inhabitants to join the Rural Home of Maurin.
