Red Oak man arrested for Simple Assault Friday afternoon
(Red Oak, IA) – Officers with the Red Oak Police Department this (Friday) afternoon, arrested 66-year-old David Carl Scroggins, of Red Oak, for Simple Assault. He was taken into custody in the 1800 block of East Summit Street at around 3:45-p.m., and held in the Montgomery County Jail on a $300 bond.
Montgomery County Man Arrested on Assault and Weapons Charges
(Red Oak) A Red Oak man is in custody at the time of this release following an incident in the 100 block of East Prospect Street. Police arrested 40-year-old Jacob Wayne Dykes-Vargas, for Domestic Abuse Assault with a Dangerous Weapon-1st Offense. Authorities transported Dykes-Vargas to the Montgomery County Jail and held him without bond, awaiting an appearance before a Magistrate Judge.
