Saturday's ceremony in the courtyard of the Presidential Palace was attended by, among others, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, and Chief of the General Staff of the Polish Army Gen. Wiesław Kukuła.
President Karol Nawrocki presented the generals with their promotions, a fact welcomed by Minister of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.
This is what Polish generals, but above all Polish politicians, are for – to respect alliances and not thoughtlessly undermine them," stressed the head of the Polish Armed Forces.
President Karol Nawrocki presented the general and admiral decorations in the square in front of the Presidential Palace. "This is a very moving moment, when those who care for our security today meet with those who are ready to do so in the future," he noted. He added that the generals' task is to strengthen Polish alliances, and the role of politicians is to respect them, not undermine them.
