Recovery crews pull stranded Brean beach warden trucks to safety using WW2 Scammell Pioneer

Two beach warden trucks were recovered from thick mud on Brean beach on Thursday (August 27th), after becoming stuck in the sea during the rescue of a child. Weston Recovey used a fleet of vehicles – including a WW2 Scammell Pioneer tank recovery truck – to pull the two trucks up the beach with winches, as pictured here.
