F-35, Europe, and the Record. Even More Fighters

The previous record for deliveries was set in 2021, with 142 aircraft. Deliveries were lower in subsequent years, first due to supply chain issues stemming from the Covid-19 pandemic, then due to delays in the implementation of the latest version of the Block 4 aircraft. As a result, while 141 aircraft were delivered in 2022, only 98 in 2023 and 110 in 2024. The excellent result in 2025 is therefore due to catching up on this backlog.
