RCMP respond to sudden death in a Kelowna park

Sudden death near playground structure not suspicious: Kelowna RCMP

A man was found dead at Sumac Park in Rutland on Tuesday morning. Around 7 a.m. on Aug, 25, the Kelowna RCMP were notified of a sudden death beside a playground structure in the park, located at 372 Sumac Road East. Upon arrival, officers found the individual dead at the scene. The RCMP have deemed the death non-suspicious. The BC Coroners Service was notified and attended the scene to help the investigation.
