Fraudulent messages that try to trick people into giving up money or login details have spread from emails to SMS, WhatsApp, and even Messenger. The Czech app "AI Smishing Checker" uses artificial intelligence to recognize them and warn potential victims of fraud.
As stated on the RATEL website, users are being sent fake SMS messages inviting them to use the supposedly earned points.
