Ranganathan, Croft Relieved Celebrity Traitors Win Is Out
The Faithful duo split an £83,000 charity prize after correctly exposing the last traitors, while the finale drew 11.2 million viewers.
On Friday, Actor Sebastian Croft and Comedian Romesh Ranganathan won the Celebrity Traitors finale after Croft changed strategy at the last minute, securing victory for the Faithfuls. The pair will split the £83,000 prize pot between Choose Love and the Refugee Council.
Victory came after the pair defeated Traitors Maya Jama and King Kenny when Kenny turned on Jama at the final roundtable, enabling the Faithfuls to banish him. The result concluded a series that whittled 21 contestants down to a dramatic endgame.
Croft revealed he tracked player actions on a list, concluding, "I just knew he was a traitor" about Kenny. He wrote, "Romesh and I just really trusted each other," crediting their partnership for the win.
Following the finale, Jama donated £83,500 to Action for Children despite her elimination, while Croft directed his £41,500 share to Choose Love. Ranganathan is donating his winnings to the Refugee Council.
Friday's finale drew an average of 11.2 million viewers, the most-watched episode of the series, with peak audiences reaching 11.6 million. The BBC recorded a 62.9% audience share, cementing the show's ratings dominance.
