The Raiders Make Their Return to the Bay Area when They Take on the 49ers

On Sunday, the Las Vegas Raiders visit the San Francisco 49ers in their first regular-season Bay Area game since relocating to Las Vegas after 2019, marking a homecoming for defensive end Maxx Crosby.
Crosby played his rookie season in 2019 in Oakland, the final year before the Raiders relocated, recording 10 sacks and 47 tackles during that campaign per Pro-Football-Reference.
With Las Vegas at 4-4, Crosby praised first-year coach Klint Kubiak and defensive coordinator Rob Leonard, saying, "We have a really good football team," amid the playoff push.
San Francisco linebacker Fred Warner anticipates an intense atmosphere, stating, "They're the Oakland Raiders this week," and expecting the stadium to be packed with returning fans.
Tight end Brock Bowers faces a 49ers pass defense that allowed 127 yards to tight ends over the past two weeks, testing one of the league's best receiving threats.
