Heat warning in effect for Quinte region

A heat warning is in effect for the Quinte region. Environment Canada issued the Orange Warning – Heat on Monday, calling for ,aximum temperatures of 31 to 33 degrees Celsius, possibly as high as 36 degrees Celsius and minimum temperatures of 21 to 24 degrees Celsius throughout the week. The heat event is expected to begin on Tuesday and continue until at least Friday, possibly into Saturday.
