Drake Basketball Tops Georgia Tech at Emerald Coast Classic

On Nov. 29, Drake Bulldogs defeated Georgia Tech Bulldogs 84-74 in the Emerald Coast Classic consolation game, with Jalen Quinn scoring a career-high 31 and Okku Federiko adding 20 points and eight rebounds.
By making 9-of-10 free throws, Jalen Quinn broke a 40-all tie with the second of two foul shots and tied a career-high seven assists, helping fuel Drake Bulldogs' 51% team shooting including 42% from 3-point range.
Drake got a lift from Jaehshon Thomas, who added 10 points, while Quinn contributed five rebounds and seven assists, showing an all-around game.
Drake improved to 5-3 with the win and is scheduled to host Western Illinois on Tuesday, Dec. 2, at the Knapp Center.
Drake's victory continues its recent success against the ACC as the Bulldogs held the lead for over 34 minutes despite trailing 43-40 at halftime against Georgia Tech.
