In the CIS, 2028 was declared the Year of Social Development and Quality of Life, and 2029 was declared the Year of Transport Connectivity.
Activities to implement the thematic Year of Social Development and Quality of Life are expected to be aimed at improving the legal and regulatory framework in the social and labour sphere, exchanging experiences and good practices on social support for the population, and holding international forums on topical issues of legal, socio-economic and socio-demographic policy of CIS member States.
