A talk event between American singer-songwriter and poet Patti Smith (78) and Keiko Ogura (87), who is testifying about her experience of the atomic bombing in English, was held at Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum in Naka Ward, Hiroshima City on the 28th. Ms. Smith recited a poem she wrote and called for "Let's rise up in solidarity for peace."

Patti Smith (78), an American singer and poet known as the "Queen of Punk Rock," visited Hiroshima on April 28 and spoke with A-bomb survivor Keiko Ogura (87). Patti, whose father was a soldier who fought against the Japanese army, said that she was a victim of the atomic bombing.
