Puerto Rican Anthony Ríos has been officially named the next chief of the Orange County Fire and Rescue Department, following the unanimous approval of his appointment by the County Board of Commissioners during a meeting held this Tuesday. Ríos will assume the position on June 27, coinciding with the retirement of current chief James Fitzgerald.
