The judge who investigates ñigo Errejón for an alleged crime of sexual assault has agreed on Monday to suspend the case due to a medical discharge (transitional work incapacity) from the complainant’s lawyer, actress Elisa Mouliaá, as reported by the Superior Court of Justice of Madrid. According to EFE, the cause of the lawyer’s discharge is due to her advanced state of gestation. The judge dismissed this suspension of Errejón’s case at first.
The proceedings against Errejó are closed, but only for a few months when the lawyer of the complainant Mouliaá is on medical leave.
The investigating judge Adolfo Carretero, in charge of the investigation against Iñigo Errejón for alleged sexual offences, has "agreed the suspension of the time limits and procedural acts in relation to the proceedings" which were initiated following a complaint by the actress Elisa Mouliaá.
