- The initiative will bring together academic and administrative units with student organizations to expand counseling access, add crisis sessions, and implement security upgrades like ID card access and sealing lecture halls 166 and 168.
- The university has hired Zachary Cunha to coordinate with law enforcement, and the Department of Education said it will examine whether Brown violated the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act, while Rodney Chatman is on leave and Hugh T. Clements Jr. is interim VP.
- Paxson wrote `There is no playbook for what we have been through as a community,' and critics highlighted missing cameras in the older portion of Barus and Holley despite roughly 1,200 campus cameras, pending a Campus Safety and Security assessment.
