The promotion of tourism in Southwest Drenthe will from now on be taken care of by one organization. The regional marketing of Westerveld, De Wolden, Hoogeveen, and Meppel will be incorporated into the independent umbrella organization Area Promotion Southwest Drenthe with its headquarters at the outdoor center De Poort in Ruinen.
