Production of raw milk decreases in Puerto Rico

Raw milk production, at the island level, is currently 14 percent lower compared to last year, Manuel Enrique Martínez Arbona, president of the Milk Sector of the Puerto Rico Farmers Association, said Tuesday. Martínez Arbona, who also operates a first-class dairy in Vega Baja, stated that this drop in production is mainly due to a marked drop in the inventory of cows in the production line.
