Problems with new passport photo rule – devices in North Rhine-Westphalia "partly not functional"

Authorities offer a new service when applying for an identity card and passport. However, citizens are rubbing their eyes when they pay.

Since 1 May, a new version of passport pictures has been in force in Germany. They may only be submitted digitally. However, it is very difficult for the technical implementation.
