Chip producer Pringles has installed more than 13,000 solar panels on the roof of a warehouse across the railway line. The generated solar energy is led to Pringles via a cable under the railway line. "That energy accounts for 15 percent of our consumption," says Johan van Batenburg, director of the Pringles factory in Mechelen.

Snack producer Pringles has equipped its distribution centre in Mechelen with one of the largest solar roofs in Belgium.
