Princess Kate shares Halloween picture of Prince Louis for first time
Kate shared a never-before-seen Halloween photo of Prince Louis, extending the family’s private photo tradition and giving fans a rare glimpse of the young royal.
On Saturday, Catherine shared a never-before-seen photo of Prince Louis, aged one, with a pumpkin in Norfolk. The image was posted on official social media channels for the Prince and Princess of Wales.
Historically, the royal family avoided public Halloween celebrations. Queen Victoria reportedly wanted members of royalty to 'uphold total class and sophistication' at all times, which meant no dressing up.
Catherine has been spotted buying costumes at Sainsbury in Amner, Norfolk. Jay Rutland, husband of Tamara Ecclestone, noted she took her children trick-or-treating near Kensington Palace in London.
Fans noted similarities between Prince Louis and his elder brother, Prince George, in the photo. 'While we can't get over Louis' Middleton family features, some fans thought the tiny Prince was the image of his elder brother,' observers said.
Middleton, who previously ran Party Pieces, revealed that Halloween traditions matter deeply to her family. 'Halloween is an Autumn highlight for me,' she said, noting her enjoyment of decorating pumpkins and trick-or-treating.
