PETALING JAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim will lead Malaysia's delegation to Kazan, Russia, as Asean marks 35 years of dialogue relations with Moscow at a commemorative summit this week.
The Prime Minister and his delegation arrived in Kazan, Russia, to attend the Special ASEAN-Russia Summit, aiming to promote cooperation in energy, food, technology, and ASEAN-Eurasia economic connectivity. (June 16, 2026, 8:25 PM)
At 3 PM on June 16th (local time), Prime Minister Le Minh Hung and the high-level Vietnamese delegation arrived at Gabdulla Tukay International Airport in Kazan, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia, to begin their participation in the Summit commemorating the 35th anniversary of ASEAN-Russia relations, at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
