Primary results in Perry County set stage for fall election
The Perry County Department of Elections and Voter Registration released unofficial results from the May 19 primary election, with 6,598 total ballots cast countywide.In the Republican primary for governor, Stacy Garrity received 4,189 votes, while 254 write-in votes were recorded. On the Democratic side, Gov. Josh Shapiro received 1,812 votes with 49 write-in votes recorded.
