Marine Tondelier embarks on the presidential after her victory at the primary ecologist on Monday. But her project remains unclear, to the great dam of her troops. What does she really think?
The idea of a primary is not unanimous on the left. Its modalities, still under discussion, as well as the date of this election, scheduled in principle for October 2026, are to be presented in mid-December.
The party's national secretary, who won 86% of the votes cast in this internal vote, was opposed to Waleed Mouhali, city councillor in La Garenne-Colombes (Hautes-de-Seine).
Unsurprisingly, the national secretary of the Ecologists has largely won the process of internal nomination of her party, so she is officially on the starting line for the primary which is due to take place in the autumn of 2026.
With little suspense, she was elected with a landslide victory. Following an internal party vote that began on December 5th, Marine Tondelier was elected with 86% of the vote to represent the Greens in the left-wing primary for the 2027 presidential election.
