Taipei, Sept. 11 (CNA) The Office of the President on Friday issued a presidential order promulgating an act aimed at strengthening Taiwan's defense autonomy and developing its unmanned vehicle industry, after Premier Cho Jung-tai (卓榮泰) countersigned the legislation.
The Legislative Yuan passed the Kuomintang's version of the "Drone Development Act" in its third reading on August 27; the Presidential Office issued a presidential order on August 11 to promulgate the act.
