Autarquia added that Maria das Dores Meira, elected by the independent Setúbal de Volta movement, will be replaced by the vice president of the municipality, Maria do Carmo Tiago.
The president of the municipal council of Setúbal, Maria das Dores Meira, requested the suspension of the mandate for 90 days, in order to recover from a "successful surgical intervention", the Municipality informed today.
