President Erdoğan's 'Çanakkale' message: We will instill this spirit in future generations
President Erdoğan said, 'The sacrifice, courage and determination of the Turkish nation has entrusted the 'Çanakkale Spirit' to us. By protecting this sacred legacy, we will be worthy of our ancestors, keep the 'Çanakkale Spirit' alive under all circumstances and instill this spirit in future generations.'
“Vefa March” to the 57th Regiment in Canakkale
The 57th Regiment Vefa March was organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports as part of the commemorations of the 110th anniversary of the Çanakkale Land Wars. Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Safa Koçoğlu distributed broken wheat soup to the participants before the march, which was the food of the soldiers of the 57th Regiment. Ceremony was held at the Conkbayırı Monument, where the nearly 5-kilometer walk ended
