Premier League loses 19 HOURS of game time to VAR delays
Snickers and Sean Dyche launched a mobile wellness van as research found Premier League fans spend 1,126 minutes a season waiting for VAR reviews.
The Premier League remains the most VAR-disrupted league in Europe, with 19 hours of delays every season affecting nearly one-third of the 38 games each team plays annually.
Insights from Snickers and Opta show the league exceeds European averages; Spanish La Liga fans face 1,086 minutes of waiting, Italy's Serie A endure 823 minutes, and Germany's Bundesliga see 604 minutes of total delay.
Arsenal is Europe's most VAR-affected club with 78 recorded incidents and 80 minutes of delays, while OnePoll research found 36 per cent of fans feel VAR has made watching the "beautiful game" less enjoyable.
To help supporters manage frustration, Snickers launched a "VAR Spa" featuring former Burnley manager Sean Dyche, utilizing a mobile "relief unit" to assist fans losing patience during video review checks.
Research indicates 72 per cent of fans support time limits on interventions, with Tottenham Hotspur devotees most in favor at 81 per cent, as many report VAR delays lead to arguments with family.
