A new traffic sign prohibiting e-scooters has appeared in the center of Prague at both ends of Nerudova Street. Prague 1 was the first city district to install it there, mainly due to repeated accidents and collisions between riders and pedestrians in the area.
Electric scooter riders are riding dangerously on the sidewalk and causing accidents, and in Prague 1, councilors have introduced the first sign prohibiting entry only for these means of transport. Unless all of Prague agrees, the bans will continue.
