In Equatorial Guinea, the sulphurous relations of the Portuguese company Zagope with the Obiang regime

For almost ten years, the BTP company has contributed some of the gains generated by the State contracts with Somagui, a logging company controlled by "Teodorin", the president's son.

The oldest son of dictator Theodore Obiang received millions of Zagope, after the company won public works worth more than a billion euros. Zagope was purchased in 1988 by the Brazilian construction multinational Andrade Gutierrez and remains active in Portugal. It is building part of the expansion of the Lisbon metro.
