Pope Leo XIV takes possession of his episcopal church in Rome on Sunday at 5 p.m. According to Kathpress, a solemn service is planned in the Lateran Basilica, during which he takes his place in the Roman episcopal seat. Lateran Basilica and the associated palace were the headquarters of the popes in Rome until the 14th century.
