Poor start, fine finish: Cadenza wins Galway at Saratoga

Cadenza tossed her head at the start and broke a step slow, but she recovered to post a 1 1/2-length score in Saturday's listed $200,000 Galway Stakes, a 5 1/2-furlong Mellon turf sprint for 3-year-old fillies at Saratoga. Trained by two-time Eclipse Award winner Brad Cox, Cadenza gave jockey Manny Franco a sweep of the day's stakes races.
