In Russia, from Friday onwards, voters are called upon to renew the lower house of parliament, the Duma. The polling stations have already opened in the Far East. This is the first election of the institution since the beginning of the large-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine. However, the only party opposed to the war, Iabloko, was not allowed to present its list.
