COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Voters are heading to the polls today to cast their ballots in the South Carolina Primary, including the race for governor. Polls opened at 7am and will remain open until 7pm. The early voting period ended last Friday and it brought in record numbers. The State election commission says more than 300,000 ballots were cast in the early voting period.
