Italy defended their title at the European Athletics Team Championships, which were held in Madrid with the first division. They collected 431.5 points, Poland was second with 405.5 points, and Germany was third with 397 points. The next championship will be in 2027 during the European Games in Turkey, where Slovenia will also compete in the first division.
