A police officer died after a shooting in front of a residence in Vero Beach, reported Indian River Sheriff Eric Flowers. The officer was identified as Terri Mashkaw, 47, who had been in the force for 25 years. Another officer and a locksmith, who is in critical condition, were also injured in the shooting.
